Researchers, academics, and institutional partners are invited to develop and coordinate a symposium within ODSIE 2027. This initiative enables organizers to create a concentrated scientific forum around a research area connected to optimization, data science, industrial engineering, or other topics relevant to the conference.

A symposium can be developed together with a university, research center, professional body, or other institution, providing a valuable setting for expanding research networks, connecting specialists, and encouraging new academic and professional partnerships.

01 · SYMPOSIUM STRUCTURE

What Can a Symposium Include?

An ODSIE 2027 symposium may be designed around three complementary scientific elements.

01

A Dedicated Research Theme

Organizers can define a specialized or interdisciplinary topic and build a mini-conference around it, provided that the proposed theme is relevant to the scientific scope of ODSIE 2027.

02
+

Panel Discussions

The program may feature two to four expert panels, creating opportunities for researchers, academics, practitioners, and industry specialists to discuss current challenges, new developments, and future research directions.

03

Paper Presentation Sessions

Each symposium may include approximately 10–24 research papers addressing the selected theme and related research questions.

02 · ORGANIZER BENEFITS

Opportunities for Symposium Organizers

01

Official Organizer Recognition

The organizer will receive a certificate formally recognizing their contribution as a Symposium Organizer at ODSIE 2027.

02

Institutional Partnership

The organizer's university, institute, or organization may be introduced as a Co-Organizer of the Symposium. Where applicable, the institution may also be acknowledged through the conference website, symposium announcements, promotional materials, and communications with relevant international academic and professional networks.

03

Potential Financial Support

Financial support may be available to eligible Symposium Organizers depending on the proposed symposium and applicable conference arrangements. Further details can be obtained from the conference team.

03 · Submit Your Idea

Send Us Your Symposium Idea

To begin the proposal process, please email your proposed symposium title to the conference coordination team.
